Black Mineral Clay Mask

After a long day at the beach, thus the red eyes, I'm treating myself to some spa like pampering with Avon's Black Mineral Clay Mask. Its best to use no more than once week as it contains salicylic acid and over use may dry out your skin. I usually use it every other week. It really helps to open my pores and pull out the yucky gunk especially on my nose. 

It goes on black. My daughter can't stop staring at me everytime I use it. 

(I know I look like the creature from the black lagoon. I promise mommy is still here.)

As it dries it turns white. In all it took about 15 minutes to completely dry. It tightens and cools as it dries, which feels awesome!

Wash off the clay mask with warm water and voila you are done! 

(BTW the red splotches on my face is from the tightening when the mask dries and hardens. It fades after a couple of minutes.)

Mani & Pedi

I actually got a chance to do my nails today. A rare feat if you ask me, but once in a blue moon my little monster takes an extra long nap. Normally its squeezing in laundry or cleaning up the endless toys, but today I said screw it and did my nails.

I love how quickly the Speed Dry by Avon does, well for lack of a better word, dry. My toes are a lovely shade of purple called presto plum. My nails are the regular Nailwear Pro collection, no speed dry for this color unfortunately, in Barefoot beige. Bummer because I kept bumping my nails as I waited impatiently to dry. Overall not bad I must say.
